Nomi is the memory specialist: warm, consistent chat, NSFW-capable for adults 18+, with voice and images present but not category-leading. The catch is access, because the free allowance is small.

Nomi AI is the memory specialist. Where most companions forget across sessions, Nomi holds names, threads and the shape of a relationship over weeks, and it is the difference you feel most in a long-term companion.
Chat is warm and consistent, it is NSFW-capable for adults, and voice and images are present if not category-leading. The catch is access: the free allowance is small and it leans subscription-first, so trying it seriously means paying.
For a genuine ongoing relationship, Nomi earns its A-tier and is the rival we credit most on memory. For an all-in-one that also leads on voice and in-thread images while staying free to start, our own Swipey is the wider pick.

This is the headline and the highest memory score we give. Nomi remembers across weeks: past conversations, preferences, the arc of the relationship. Nothing else on the board is this dependable long-term.
9.0. The memory champion, full stop.Chat is warm, consistent and characterful, and it benefits directly from the memory: replies feel like they come from someone who knows you. Range is a touch narrower than Character.AI or Swipey.
8.4. Excellent within a continuous relationship.Nomi is NSFW-capable for adults 18+ and handles romance without the mainstream filters, which pairs well with its long-term framing.
8.2. Adult-friendly and relationship-focused.Voice is built in and pleasant, useful for keeping a relationship feeling present, though it is not the frictionless headline it is on Swipey.
7.6. Present and decent, not a lead column.Images are available and fine, more a supporting feature than a reason to pick Nomi. Candy and OurDream lead here.
7.2. Supporting feature, not a strength.Value is the soft spot: the free allowance is small and the real experience needs a subscription. Fair for what memory delivers, but not the cheapest way in.
7.5. Justified by memory, not a bargain.Capabilities from our comparison. Our #1, Swipey AI, adds video up to 60s, best-in-class calls (in-call memory and live transcription), the most robust live mode, gifts and gamification, Premium $7.99/month plus hearts for extras.
